Hollywood has always rewarded talent. But the stars who last the longest and earn the most are the ones who learned to negotiate as well as they perform. Today’s biggest names are not just entertainers. They are dealmakers who sit at the table and change the terms.

The line between celebrity and mogul has never been blurrier. These ten stars have crossed it completely. They signed the contracts, built the companies, and closed the deals that turned their fame into genuine long-term power.

Taylor Swift announced on May 30 2025 that she had purchased the master recordings of her first six studio albums from Shamrock Capital. Multiple industry sources reported the purchase price was approximately 360 million dollars. Shamrock had originally bought the catalog from Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in October 2020 for around 405 million dollars.

Swift attributed the deal’s success to the overwhelming reception of her re-recordings and the Eras Tour, which became the highest-grossing concert tour in history at over 2.2 billion dollars in revenue. The purchase made her the sole owner of her full music catalog for the first time in her career. Her ability to use commercial success as leverage to reclaim creative ownership became one of the most significant artist-business victories of the decade.
