Now, according to multiple reports, the dynamic in her own household has quietly shifted. Her kids are showing up for her.

Jolie and Brad Pitt finalized their divorce in December 2024 after years of contentious legal proceedings, including a prolonged custody dispute that became one of the most scrutinized splits in Hollywood history.
The case dragged on eight years. By the time it was settled, the emotional toll on the entire family was reportedly considerable, and Jolie leaned on her children more than she had before.
Six Children
She has six children: Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 21; Shiloh, 20; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17. As of mid-2026, the older four are legal adults, with the twins turning 18 in July.

Zahara made headlines when she joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College in 2023 and introduced herself at the ceremony as “Zahara Marley Jolie” rather than using Pitt’s name. It was a small detail that said a great deal.
She enrolled at Spelman in fall 2022 and, by most accounts, has maintained a limited relationship with her father.
Public Attention
Shiloh drew enormous public attention in 2024 when she filed legal paperwork to remove Pitt from her last name, filing on her 18th birthday in May and receiving court approval in August.
The move was widely covered, and while Shiloh has largely stayed out of the spotlight, the decision signaled where her allegiances landed after years of watching her parents’ legal battle play out.

Knox and Vivienne turn 18 in July 2026, which means all six children will soon be adults.
